I gamble because it's a fun vice to have. I like doing research. I like watching sports. I like having something riding on the games I watch. I am extremely competitive , but don;t belong to any basketball, baseball leagues at the moment (thanks to having a newborn baby and attending night classes to get my MBA). Sure, I try to have an edge, but I'll bet coinflip situations (small wagers) if it's on a game I'm watching/attending. For me, it's all about the competition. When I hit a casino, I want to play blackjack for the sheer Me vs. the dealer aspect. When I play craps, it's a little more of the "4AM, drunken crownd, catching the good vibe off the table" type thing. But with sports betting, it is pure competition. I want to hit 60% (Units-wise) at least, but in my mind, I'm always seeking a perfect day.
