    VIP (SBR rating A) and sister books no longer accepting new clients from the US.

    VIP (SBR rating A) and sister books no longer accepting new clients from the United States and Canada. Canada-based users will have access to their accounts until April 1st but new deposits will not be accepted. Existing U.S. customers that have deposited in the past may continue to use their accounts as normal. Phone wagering will no longer be offered. Customer service by phone will continue as normal.

                      There was a bill, in ontario, but it only pertained to banning advertising for offshore casino's and had nothing to do with banning online gambling itself. And when it was introduced, it was met with a fiery of criticism by our nationally syndicated sports talk show host Bob Macowan (our version of Jim Rome for comparison sake). 3 full days of discussing this issue over the national airwaves, both radio and tv. If only one of the US sports broadcasting icons would stand up for you Americans the same way, you might have had a fighting chance. As for canada banning offshore gambling, if it happens it won't be for a while.....it will never happen as long as we have a minority government here so I feel we are definately safe for the next few years. And after a few years the landscape will have changed again anyway and new issues will be at the fore.
