Oh man 23 is the record! White Sox is playing against A’s for 3 game series, I would have finally bought A’s tickets for souvenir and frame it if it was for the breaking the record. Oh so close.

        Oh yeah.

42 games back of division leader Cleveland.

Has a team ever been 42 games back with 48 games yet to be played?

No clue but I have been watching the condensed clips on MLB app to see how they will lose again today. Me and my buddies take bets on which Detroit Tiger will be the prick of the day.

Maybe the 1899 Cleveland Spiders. They had the worst winning pct. (20-134 .130) and run differential (-723, an average of almost 4.7 per game) in MLB history; the franchise folded at the end of the year.

Well, that explained why Indians didn't change their name to Spiders.

They were a good team until the owners bought the St. Louis team and transferred the good players to St. Louis and left Cleveland with nothing; that's why baseball banned people from owning more than one team.
