I think they are gonna give Eberflus another year in Chicago. It will be interesting what they do with those two top picks in the draft especially when it comes to Fields. Bears are gonna have the most cap room next year of any team I believe.

Maybe Bellichick will go to the Chargers?

Could be, John. Beli is in a good spot:

          1) He COULD get fired. But it would really just be a parting of the ways.
          2) Beli still holds most (if not all) of the cards. He can get another gig, and Chargers make sense to me. But he'd have to hand-pick an OC that he trusts. Beli/Josh McDaniels to Chargers is not impossible.
          3) If he doesn't want to coach, he can easily get a TV job. And that gig is like stealing $$.
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

Harbaugh is-210 to coach the chargers. Great job for him. New facility with a top QB. He will take care of the rest.

How in the world is that even a bad coaching job, much less the worst?

Other than lack of home field advantage, Chargers have a lot of pieces in place to be competitive.

Please stay faithful to your New Year's resolution of curtailing the amount of dumb things you say in 2024.

Why? They had no chance from Day 1.
excellent points all the way around! but the narrative among the populace here in DC land (social media, talk shows, tv, internet, radio, newspapers, etc) was that no one else wanted the job and/or was willing to work for an owner like Dan Snyder. There might be a little bit of truth to that but I'm not buying it. I'm not sure if you were aware of this or not but you know what the really disturbing thing about about all of that is? there are currently 5 successful coaches in the NFL that were all assistants with the Redskins under the Mike Shanahan tree!! and not one of them was given a chance to flourish or succeed here! Hence they left our dysfunctional franchise and shithole of an organization (and Snyder's colossal failure to recognize coaching talent). and went to achieve fame, stardom, and success with other NFL teams! Here is the list off the top of my head: Kyle Shanahan (49'ers head coach), Sean McVay (Rams head coach), Mike McDaniel (Dolphins head coach), Matt LeFleur (Packers head coach), Kevin O'Connell (Vikings head coach), and I'm not sure if I'm missing anyone else or not but how about dem apples?! four of them currently in the playoffs and two of them have already coached in the Superbowl. and I think we all can agree that the Vikings would have definitely been a playoff team and possible superbowl contender if Kirk Cousins didn't get injured! This is exactly the reason why us skins fans be like:

Yup, you know the drill very well here in the DMV area, Drunk! not to mention the next great black hope QB! Here we go again with this nonsense. they are clamoring for Caleb Williams or Jayden Daniels for the skins to draft with their #2 pick! I would gladly take Drake Maye, Bo Nix, or Michael Pennix over either of those two! and yes, Pennix is black so no one accuses me of playing the race card. Bo Nix is the most "pro ready" of all the bunch. he's accurate, has a strong arm, can make all the throws, read defenses and go through progressions, and is very mobile when he needs to be. and I love the fact that he elected to play in his bowl game one last time with his troops and it goes to show he is willing to go to battle with his teammates. He wasn't selfish and only concerned with himself like all of the other opt-outs. That got some serious respect points in my book.
