Two Major NBA Streaks on the line tonight.
Spurs have lost 18 straight games.
They play the Lakers again tonight.

Pistons have lost 21 straight games.
They play the Sixers tonight in Philly.

Unless the creek rises and the sun fries there is no way the Pistons win tonight.
Piston could break the all-time losing streak record.
    That's next level stinky.

I haven't watched an NBA game for years but its hard not have some idea as to what is happening in the league, but I never knew these 2 teams were doing this much losing. Wow! Do they have enough players each night?

Spurs and Pistons have been great fades in spots all season long.

I think Spurs get it done tonight. Wish I had bet the opener, but I got in at +6 and +200 ML.

Monty Williams has some motivational fodder after every loss... he'll say stuff like I know these guys are going to turn it around because they were diving for loose balls in practice.

Another example of coaching being largely redundant in the NBA. Bickerstaff is an exception to that rule, but not in a good way. His daddy was a good coach but junior is a bi t(h that has lost everywhere he has been. Cavs need to fire him before the team implodes.

I'm convinced the Pistons are the worst team in the NBA. That team seriously blows. The top college team would probably beat them.

The Detroit Pistons have now lost 22 games in a row

It is the eighth-longest losing streak in NBA history.

If you started with $100, bet on every Detroit opponent ML and rolled it over, you'd be up over $105,000 during the streak

Pistons are pure trash. Fade is always the play especially when they play on the road. Lines are starting to get jacked though.

KLC, that's amazing. I'll make a couple observations:

                              1) Used to be in the NBA that you could make some ATS $$ betting reversals.
...IE, when a team is struggling you'd expect them to show some pride. Who likes to be consistently beat down?

                              2) Now, the $$ is too big.
...I really think the well-paid guys just think "As long as the check clears. Why push it?"
...The fringe players might be motivated to stay in the league. But I don't these teams (as a whole) are hungry at all.
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

What's funny is former coach of the year Monty Williams giving his soundbites after every loss... desperate attempts to motivate his team. He'll say things like my guys were diving for loose balls in practice so they're going to turn it around real quick. Or we have a real good group of guys; there's no finger pointing. Now putting all the blame on himself before anyone else does, pre-game. Relax coach! You have v.little to do with it either way! This is a player's league! GMs are the ones that win the day! Krenoke in Denver, Riley in Miami, Bob Myers in SF, James Jones in Phoenix.

                                            been using it lately

bet jazz live 4th q and det folded late big time

had ml nets in a very nice parlay that ended up losing because of one play - the BULLS ...which means the bulls nice run is over time to fade them a couple times soon

next 2 - v nets again and then on the road v celtics .... yikes

then they could potentially set a new mark losing at home to the raptors on 12-30. then they could lose 30th in a row on the road v a very capable houston team

Truth of the matter is they've drafted v.poorly, and then also they've gone out of their way to acquire other team's poor picks (Bagley/ Wiseman). No finesse, just getting many young players as possible with upside.

UPSIDE is the worst word in sports and drafts and you are spot on. This is the entire PISTONS roster. Cunningham even said we all play as individuals… basically- we don’t give a damn about team ball. Here’s the real question: how many more do they lose in a row? I don’t see a win… @ Spurs in January? No chance.

                                                        1) Does anyone in Detroit give a crap given the rise of the Lions?

                                                        2) Here's to hoping they go 2-80 and still fail to win the lottery

Lions picked up a good win today. They gotta a little something going on! Defense still struggles at times though going into the playoffs.

The Raptors game on the 30th will be like game 7 of the finals for them. Raptors are led by a young star, S.Barnes, these days and might have a hard time getting up for that one. If they don't snap the streak in December then maybe February!
