Since Counsell declined an extension with the Brewers, I'm assuming he plans on joining the Mets.

NYY have an awful farm system, 21st ranked, and none of their top prospects are pitchers.

What the Yankees need to do is spend very wisely on free agent pitching, they also need just a few sticks, but they really need to address that starting pitching problem.
