At 40-1 odds (varies widely) this is worth a shot. I think he'll be in the conversation, maybe more so as a bounce back candidate, but if things break right MVP isn't out of the question.
On it.

I think he'll be on the short list by year's end. I'm higher on CLE than most, so I understand it seems out there.
Most felt the same way about Jalen Hurts around this time last year, though.

He'd have to run away with it or they won't want to vote for him. Tread lightly. Maybe better off betting on Browns futures.

Exactly. This isn't based on merit, it's a vote by media monkeys and their dumb woke asses are already severely biased against him.

Well he's black, so that nets him some leeway with the wokies. Also there's some distance between himself and that situation now; he served his suspension, and by 2024, when the voting heats up, it'll be even more in the rear view.
Granted, it's not ideal, but I'm also getting +4000 so it isn't supposed to be ideal. I'm hoping his play on the field speaks louder than his actions off the field some years back. Maybe the voters like a good redemption story?
Anyways, I don't think it'll be one of the usual suspects... Mahomes, Burrow, Allen.
Lamar Jackson or Justin Herbert would be my next two choices.

100% agree. My sentiments exactly. If Sean Payton can make a limp-dicked, noodled-armed, shit-stain on my face midget QB like Drew Brees into a HOF QB, he will do wonders for Russel Wilson. Furthermore, I'm pretty sure last year was a very humbling experience for Wilson as both him and his inflated ego were brought down back down to earth several notches not to mention he ate some serious crow and failed miserably. With all of that said, the Broncos are also my dark horse team to watch out for this year in the AFC. They've got all the "parts" to win now.

This has legs, Johnny. How many quarterbacks will be better than Wats at the end of the year? Obviously other positions are eligible for the award but it's usually going to be the guy touching the ball on every play.

you've gotta respect a guy who goes into a massage with his own towels (small ones at that) and starts the massage face up.
that is a man with a plan.
the question is this: without these massages anymore (it appears) will he have the edge he needs when he takes the field ?

Watson has some nice pieces to work with.
Chubb is a top five RB.
Browns have a nice crop of receivers too.
Cooper is proven, People Jones is sneaky good, and Elijah Moore is the sleeper I'm expecting to break out big.
Even the TE is good, Njoku is the TE critics say is legit.
Week one v. Bengals.
Huge game, I'll pay attention to that game.

Drew Brees was my krytonite! I bet on him, he goes 15 of 34 for 89 yds, 0 TD's, 3 INTS...I bet against him he goes for his usual 35 of 45 for 400 yds, 4 TD's, 0 INT's. He was one of those QB's that always did the exact opposite of which way I wagered...either for or against him! That is why I did everything in my power to usually avoid betting Saints games but sometimes it couldn't be helped. and I'll never forget as a hardcore DC Redskins fan, the Monday Night debacle when he broke the NFL all-time passing yards record against my skins in what was an obviously rigged and fixed game. I mean his whole family in attendance. 15 minute break during the game to applaud and salute him, posing with his family, basically making a mockery of the game. all of the top executives and figureheads of the NFL on hand to witness this travesty and charade. and most of the players and coaches were in on the fix as well! Hell, I even cursed my own team out. Saints WR's getting open by 15 - 20 yards all night long for fukks sake??!!!...no pressure on the QB whatsoever?!...Brees basically playing pitch and catch and sandlot football against supposedly a "pro" defense?!! and no adjustments??!!...and of course Goddell and the higher brass are absolutely loving it because of high ratings and good PR for the NFL!...Sorry but I call FUKKKINNN-BULL-SHITTTT!!!
I bet him against soft team defenses that he should carve up and devour.
He'd throw three picks, every freaking time I bet Cousins he shits the bed.

I can't even envision a path for Ridder to bag MVP. It may as well be 500-1, those tickets are toilet paper.

I love what the Falcons are doing.
I had an early draft, snatched up Robinson second round, fourteenth overall.

Way too early. He's going to split time. And Ridder runs as well. That's basically 3 rbs. In the second round you want a workhorse.

I would take Bijan in the 2nd round without thinking twice. His ADP in 12 team money drafts has been late 1st round. I don't see anyone on that roster eating heavily into his workload. Bijan is an elite talent, Allgeier is just a guy. Ridder's running doesn't bother me, but if he can't keep teams honest with the pass, then Robinson could be looking at a lot of stacked boxes. Other than that, there's not much in his way.

Watson worth a shot at that price being Cincinnati is the most overrated team in the NFL along with Lamar Jackson being the most overrated QB Cleveland has a legit shot at winning the AFC North.

How are the Bengals overrated?
Burrows has two, not one, but two super wideouts at 100 percent health now to throw downfield too, Higgins and Chase, and a very dependable third option in Tyler Boyd.
The Bengals o line is OK enough, PFF ranks them middle of the pack.
Mixon ain't in trouble any more, restructured his deal, he's happy.
Mixon ain't what he was in 2018, but he still is good for four pass receptions out of the backfield and he still has some mileage left.
Irv Smith is the tight end now. That's the question mark, but he's good.
The Bengals have enough defense, and can hang a 34 burger on at least 20 NFL defenses.
I don't see how Cincy is overrated?

Oline is in bottom half of the league and defense is mediocre at best that you can run on all day. Not to mention it is one of the worst run teams as far as management. Their window has closed already and people don't get it yet.
