The Bengals are obviously talented, but my gut feeling is that they are not taking the division this year. They're not gonna fall off a cliff or anything, but I sense incoming regression.

The AFC North is going to the Browns or Ravens.

People forget that they were a fumble away on the 1 yard line that gave them a 14 point swing to beat the Ravens with a backup QB and then went on to lose to KC with Mahomes playing on one leg.

Ravens will go as far as Action Jackson takes them.

My darkhorse is Herbert and the Chargers.
That's the team that makes me the most curious.
That offense is loaded too, they go four deep at wideout.

The Chargers main problems are running the ball, on both sides. They don't run the rock well, and they don't stop it.

Fantasy player? Sure. He gets a gazillion dumpoffs and makes things happen. The Chargers don't line up and run the ball well, though. That still matters. Ekeler had two games last year rushing over a bill.

Herbert isnt winning MVP until theres a new coach. They should have let that coach go last year. Just cost their franchise qb another year.

got to stay healthy which is a big if but his numbers were on pace to be great if he had. But my above is to pick all 4 and in that group i think theres enough protection in case he doesnt stay healthy

Why have Purdy on that list at all? How many dominoes would have to fall in order for that scenario to unfold?

It's not that he's a bad quarterback, but MVP's need to post gaudy numbers and he's not even in a situation where that is going to be asked of him.

The fact that I got Watson at the same price as Purdy is theft, I don't see them as equal caliber candidates.

I wanted a dark horse in my grouping. Plus hes got alot to prove this year and Shanahan helped Matt Ryan to a MVP so you never know.
I cant back Watson because i dont think they can win enough to put him into contention. I wanted all my QBs to be on teams that i thought would be successful.

I totally agree, USCPhilly!...What I don't understand is how and why he is in the league?! Whatever happened to conduct detrimental to the league?! Although to be fair, Watson never was indicted on any of those charges and settled 23 out of 24 cases out of court which leads me to believe a good % of those women were nothing but gold-digging bitches. However, I'm pretty sure some of those accusations were legit. There was no "violence" component in Watson's case. Ray Rice beat the sh!t out of woman, there's a difference. Watson was likely being an inappropriate hornball, but he wasn't pinning them up against the wall and forcing himself on the accusers or anything like that. DW served an 11 game suspension and I believe paid a 5 million dollar fine, not to mention the civil suit settlements. Ray Rice was allowed back as far as I understand, but he wasn't exactly in his prime by that point in his career, and no team signed him.

I placed the bet well before I made the thread. I thought the words "on it" made that clear. It's not like a huge investment or anything, but I like the odds and I think Watson will be better than expected.

I don't make threads for speculation, this is a play. There's no question mark at the end of the title. I'm not Lakerboy.

FWIW I'm gonna add a couple more MVP plays and hopefully one of the three hits for a profit. I feel like if I have Watson then I need to cover a couple more spots on the roulette table... He does have a lot going against him in the "sentiment" department.
