I already know what you're referring to... You do realize if Curry holds onto the ball he's going to get tied up and be in a jump ball situation he's most likely going to lose? Plus the clock is already working against them, a jump ball just would shave it down even more.

As dumb as the play may have looked at a glance, Curry did the best thing he could in that situation, getting the ball out of the scrap of humanity and hope that a teammate scooped it up and got a good look at a 3 for the tie.
