Need to question Durant's legacy. Can't just sign up w/ GoldSt when they're an established team. What did he do on his own?

    To his credit:
*He got OKC to the Finals early in his career. COULD HAVE won the title that year (2012).
*Got OKC to the Western Finals against Gold St in 2016. OKC were up on GoldSt 3-1 but notably lost Game 6 at home.

I'll remember that Game 6 vividly. Westbrook was playing a great all-around game, he was ready to put GoldSt away. But Durant felt like he needed to get his shots, he forced it (10/31) and played poorly. Klay Thompson was magnificent in that game and wanted to win. If memory serves, Curry was playing thru injury and couldn't do that much.

My memory of Durant won't be good. Guy had to sign up for two rings.
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

if CP3 had been healthy the last 4 games and Ayton had played as well, this series would have gone 7 games and anything could have happened especially with KD and Book out there.

there's never been a sporting event in your life where a star player was out and your team won or lost based on being the team who suffered the bad luck or the team who got to play another team shorthanded?

extended to 6 games against a Suns MASH unit team?

go ahead and be impressed by that LOL

Opened slightly for one last run, but now it’s closed. I’d trade Durant, Ayton, and terminate Chris Paul’s contract. P

CP3 is a star player? The star players are Durant and Booker.

So Paul not playing last night was why Booker only had 12 points?

yes he is. first ballot HOFer. you don't know the league

and yes, when other star players are out there it spaces the floor.

Ayton also being out closed the floor up for Book.

without Book they don't win G3 and G4 with CP3 out also.

it was all Book and KD. 2 on 5 every game.

if AD is out, Lebron and lakers have less space to roam.

                          get it?

                              Homie's post nailed it.
Without Ayton it became crystal clear to me Jokic was set up and primed for a monster night.

And at + money, Jokic to register a 3x2 was a must play for me last night.

The Phoenix Suns and Frank Vogel are finalizing a five-year deal to make him the franchise's next coach, sources told ESPN on Friday.
The Suns offered Vogel the job Friday morning and are nearing completion on a long-term deal that'll deliver him the chance to coach All-NBA stars Devin Booker and Kevin Durant, sources said.
Vogel emerged from a finalist group that included former Philadelphia 76ers coach Doc Rivers and Suns assistant Kevin Young, sources said. Vogel comes with a 2020 NBA championship as head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers and a history of constructing elite defenses.
