Need to question Durant's legacy. Can't just sign up w/ GoldSt when they're an established team. What did he do on his own?
To his credit:
*He got OKC to the Finals early in his career. COULD HAVE won the title that year (2012).
*Got OKC to the Western Finals against Gold St in 2016. OKC were up on GoldSt 3-1 but notably lost Game 6 at home.
I'll remember that Game 6 vividly. Westbrook was playing a great all-around game, he was ready to put GoldSt away. But Durant felt like he needed to get his shots, he forced it (10/31) and played poorly. Klay Thompson was magnificent in that game and wanted to win. If memory serves, Curry was playing thru injury and couldn't do that much.
My memory of Durant won't be good. Guy had to sign up for two rings.
