Another strange thing about Phoenix was the situation with Crowder. He wanted out because Cam Johnson took his spot, then they proceed to get rid of both of them.

Been documented that it cost the Suns way too much to acquire Durant.

Booker/Durant need to play perfect for Suns to win. And Ayton has no answer for Jokic.

2-unit play for me: Denver (gm6) +3.

Here is my logic:
1) Paul being Out is huge. People don't like Paul, but the dropoff is huge. And I know PHX won games 3/4.
2) I mentioned that this is setting up as a Homer series. 5-0 SU/ATS to the home team so far. I view that as a crutch. People will bet the Home team and feel like they're on the sharp side b/c they're riding the streak.
3) See points 1/2. Denver has the upper hand in this series, Phx performed in gms 3/4. Given the Suns' injury report, this line is too fat. I mentioned that I thought it would short, like -1.5 if Paul is ruled OUT. Feel very good about the Denver line value here.

Good question. I really think it depends on the individual player:

*I posted in the Milw/MIA threads that I didn't mind Herro getting injured. The oddsmaker made the Heat a bigger dog...but in my mind the Heat rotation improved b/c Herro takes a lot of shots. Heat have had success post-Herro.

*I view Paul as an efficient player, even at an advanced age. I anticipate the Suns struggling to win here without Paul.

I know I'm going against trends here. Homer series. Denver hasn't won at Phx all year, etc.
