Showalter is a complete scumbag POS..might as well call him The Little Boy that Cried Wolf.

I blame the umpire crews more than him for not telling him to fk off back to the dugout and stopping his shenannigans.

Giving Musgrove an ear cavity check in the playoffs and stopping the game last night for 10 minutes on a call that was clear as day. The ball hit the batter and he swung and missed, it was clear as day and somehow the game was stopped for ten minutes while looking into something that was an obvious call.

I loved the hire when it happened. But now, would like to see him gone. Game has passed him by.

The overall shape of the Mets is not good. They spent all that money and have not improved their lineup from last years team who couldn't produce when it mattered.

It will take 2 more years before we can reload, unless Steve wants to go over 400 million payroll. We have to get Scherzer and Verlander off the books first and then get young talent. they have to pay Polar Bear soon. the way he is smashing, they might need to give him 300 million plus.

Our only hope is that Baty and company can get turn into solid everyday players once called up.

Mets should still be a playoff team, but their chances of surviving the playoffs are slim. no doubt Max and Verlander will be worn out by September (If Verlander even stays healthy).

You guys have all your hopes riding on two 40 something starting pitchers that heavily rely on velocity...

Showalter is an embarrassment with all his "witch hunting" nonsense stalling games for no good reason. I blame the umpire crews a lot more than him for going along with the charade when there's nothing there.

Guy seems like a dinosaur. Was a long time ago that Danny Tartabull was working on his swing:

Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

The problem I had with the Musgrove incident last year was he waited too far into the game before he said anything. When I first saw Musgrove's ears, I thought the same thing. But it's just his normal looking ears and it looks dark to someone who hasn't seen him much. He should have had him checked out in the first couple innings if he thought there was really something there.

I'm hoping a batter hits a line drive into the Met's dugout and dots him square in the temple...

I do think he's a pretty good manager but I will say he made with worst single decision in the history of sports.

He did it again in game 1 of the Padres/Mets series earlier in the week. He got the game stalled out for around ten minutes on a clear as day play that in no way should've halted the game.

I don't watch Mets games except when they play the Padres so i can only imagine he pulls this crap often?

The umpires need to grow a pair and tell him to fuk off.

Easy now jaker, I disagree with everyone here. Buck is priceless. I am sick of people saying "the game past him by" or "he is too old school". That is exactly what I want. I don't want anything to do with how pussy the generations are now. I want a manager out there making big deals of anything. MLB pandering to clowns is changing baseball and it is dumb as FUK. Just embarrassing. You don't want to watch baseball than fuk you and go hit on your phone at home. I don't care if a game is 9 hours I will enjoy every bit of it. Make the game 20 minutes, the queers they are pandering too will be looking at their phones 18 of those minutes anyways
