The back up players in todays generation are way better than years ago
The only good thing if you want to jump a line before books move

A hero wears a cap. Capeing a hero without a cap only leads to bad capeing.

take Dak Prescott for example
everyone betting against Rush keeps winning
now Dak desperate to get back he sees what's happening

Parity league. 12/16 games decided by 7 points or fewer this week.

That's the angle, but it can be tough to cape.
I've set up strategies based on regression research, especially with the NBA.
It's seen some good days, and some bad days.
The jury is still out, but JaDr3am has the right idea.
It is my belief that I can talk about this "angle" and building it into a model because the marketplace will have a hard time swallowing the info and the bettors will continue to push the lines out of whack, creating value.
If you want to get an edge in actual handicapping, you have to be creative and sometimes let the market forces do a lot of the work for you.

its definitely tough to cape. i like this theory more with the NBA but it works for NFL as well just have to be very spotty when picking the game. the next man up mentality is real

Thinking outside the box is critical in all markets.
