I don't think that is the motivation.

I think SBR probably turned a lot of tout customers into cappers over the years.

I think SBR benefitted by attracting a lot of newbie bettors via that sub forum too.

I do think the regular flow of legal threats from touts is not something the new new owners are used to when doing their business.

Plus, just not wanting to be associated with with what is pretty much a scam industry.
