    I was expecting maybe touting the February 1,1865 13th amendment being approved.

    or maybe that Rick James (Bitch) was born on this day in 1952.

          Somethings, I'm not allow to think about.

          How about this one:

          Another birthday Garret Morgan 1877-1963. The inventor of the traffic light. So you can't say that the traffic lights are racist when the light magically turns yellow and quick red right in front of the white ass copper. They were invented by a black dude. He also did allot of other mechanical stuff back in the day but this is probably his most famous thing.

            Langston Hughes, born on this day in 1901, for me represents the embodiment of Harlem Renaissance and the emergence of Afro-American culture in a post civil war world. Hughes’ stylistic poems can be both tragic and inspiring, my favorite one above represents both these qualities.
