#38My fear in this game is that SF runs the ball 50 times and makes the gm ugly and GB doesnt get the ball enough. Ive seen SF burn 9-10 mins off the clock and kick a fgComment -

#40The Packers put a lot of emphasis on the running game at the end of the year, and the 49ers don't have the running they did in previous years, Green Bay should be fine.Comment -

#48Dude it helps some but not as much as you think. The additional wear slows you down. Played football and rugby in Ohio. Unless the wear is immensely better …I have to agree morino.Comment -

#50Stop with the cold weather bull shit because they are the 49ers does that mean they all played in California their entire lives lol throw the fukin weather out the window. Aaron Rodgers truly does not give 2 fuks anymore I honestly believe that. I definitely see the niners covering if not winning out rightComment -

#52The line is now -5.5 for Green Bay. The books are begging you to take them. I have a couple of futures on 49ers to reach and win Super Bowl so I won't touch the spread or moneyline. 49ers will be a tough out and won't be intimidated playing at Lambeau. Can see this game going down to the last possession for either team. Let's hope the refs don't decide the outcome.Comment -

The Packers have been undervalued at home all year, they were 2.5 point favorites against the Rams who they dominated.Comment -

#54Only way SF stays in this game is if the running game is on but then again no one is thinking about Jimmy throwing the ball much either. That first drive which led to a TD in big D last week was impressive. No play for me but SF is a team no one wants to play right now and I'm surprised this line is not higher than 5.5 for GB.Comment -

#57Subzero temperatures also have a big impact on the game because of air density, long throws and long field goals are nearly impossible. Extremely cold air is also very thick and dense.Comment -

#61It doesn't impact my analysis at all but there is no difference between 5.5 and 6 long-term, if the books wanted more action on Green Bay they'd drop the number to 4. 5 is not a key number.

And no, GB wasn't a favorite against the Rams. But yes, they did win and of course cover. Let's not forget however, SF was -3 earlier this season vs GB. Deebo Samuel wasn't much of a factor that game and the rushing attack was putrid with Eli Mitchell missing in action. Even so, it took a miracle for GB to win on a last second field goal.
I would expect both the rushing attack and Samuel to be much better this game. The 49ers have a dynamic offense as long as they don't turn it over. This game could be a shootout. I like over 47 on this game.Comment -

#62You're kidding, right? Both sentences from what you wrote are not accurate. 6 is always a key number in football. Moving it a half point in either direction is huge. First off, it guarantees there will be no pushes (unless of course someone buys a half point). And disagree that it would take dropping it to -4 for more action on GB. Dropping it under 6 gets it in people's mind that all it takes to cover is a touchdown or a couple of field goals. So most bettors wouldn't care whether the line is -4 or -5.5, it's basically the same thing.

There is nothing dynamic about the 49er offense, its running and throwing 6 yards passes, Garapollo isn't very good. Packers defense hasn't been strong this year, but they are healthy and should be fine here, as they were the previous time these teams played.Comment -

#63Rodgers has very rarely had home advantage in the NFC championship game, last year was the first time in a decade he played at home in the conference championship game. That should be key this year.Comment -

#663 and 7 are the only key numbers in the NFL, 6 is not a key number, and its not close.

SF has many weapons. I agree Garappolo is their achilles heel. If he doesn't turn it over, look out. Using Samuel in different positions on the field makes them dynamic. Break away speed that can take it to the house on any play.Comment -

#676 is most definitely a key number. The longer extra point has made it so. Even without that, it's still a key number.

Its very cheap to buy on and off 6, its very expensive to buy on and off 3 and 7.Comment -

You don't have to have great QB play to be considered dynamic. A non conventional offense that has success in the way Samuel is used, definitely qualifies.Comment -

#706 is absolutely a key number no matter how you want to break it down. 3,6, and 7 are the most common numbers where bettors are likely to buy a half point. Doesn't matter the price difference.
