The Sun Bowl Association has announced that Central Michigan University has signed on to play Washington State in the Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl. The Chippewas will be the Home team.

Friday, should be a good game. Central Michigan still wants to play! They have a solid QB (Miami Dade all time record holder) and terrific RB, who led the nation in rushing. Coach Mac will have them ready to play. Sun Bowl always a memorable bowl for me.

Oh ok, yeah this thread was about the Sun Bowl which was always at 12pm. Originally having Miami facing Washington State, but Central Michigan replacing Miami

Interesting matchup! I worked on it for about an hour just now.

CM (8-4) was already nearby for Arizona bowl so its not like they're coming in cold. They've won 4 in a row and 6 of 7. Last 4 wins were pretty impressive: They beat WM by 12, Kent by 24, Ball State by 20, and EM by 21. They're explosive w/33 ppg and 450 yds per game. Their pass defense is 11th out of 12 in the MAC, but their pass rush is pretty decent. They've also only had 12 turnovers which is solid.

Wash St (7-5) is on their 3rd coach in 2 years and their leading RB is out (12 tds). They're also going to be without their best OT and CB opting out. They've won 6 of 8, but I think they're missing some key components here.

I like CM and the Over. I watched CM alot last year and they're pretty physical for a MAC team. Wash St is the same old Wash St. THey chuck it around and they're pretty soft.

Draftkings has CM +7.5 (-115) mostly 7 everywhere else
MGM has a total of 57 mostly 57.5 everywhere else

Somehow I watched every game in the MAC last year. CM was 3-1 and rolling but their chubby black QB got hurt and finished 3-3
