They decided to run a sportsbook which surely recollected some of that compensation back but not everyone lost. Now, the "offshore watchdog" presumably wants to stiff winners along with collecting points back from losers.

Yup $100 in btc was 2667 BPs. Ironically I was going to cash out SOME soon because with all the contest and buy ins for Fantasy, I had plenty of a cushion.

Selling SBR was a shrewd business decision. Points were a strategy. SBR does not consider posters to be worth anything. Posters are part of a strategy. When there is no more SBR, the points have no value to SBR and you wanting to cash out on something of no value is dumb. But of course, there is a reason for that.

I think the new owners thought they were buying something steady. They thought they could maintain the views. They are not going to pay for views like SBR did. SBR was willing to pay for volume and they paid up until the designated date. The new site is not going to pay for past volume and probably did not understand the dynamics of SBR. So the next few months are going to be interesting.

It will be fun to see how it all plays out.
