Years ago I won a SB contest that gave me a free pro membership. Having around 30k in bet points I was instructed by another poster via PM to get those bet points invested somewhere before they upgraded my acct and sweep away my points…..
Hid them all in season bets that managed to remain quiet and when some DID cash months later sbr was non he wiser. I’ve donated points to charity’s and bought two or three more pro memberships since then but never EVER invested an actual dime to this chit show/ who’s who in mental health…

Just a dumb decision. A lot of non-pros were just playing in the football contests trying to win the jackpot. Then they started about 2 years ago giving cash prizes to non-pros for winning contests. Then more moochers showed up to take a piece of the pie.

So they brought the current situration to themselves. When you don't take care of your paying membership customers your business is going to fail.

PROs are a money loser. What PROs do is keep your volume higher than it normally would be which makes your advertising better. The non-PROs make all the money for the site.

I think PRO was actually a bad idea but it does keep people around so it does work. The actual PROs themselves are worthless.

That is why SBR is not going to feel too bad about not paying out points. Do you think dlow was worth $6,000?
