KVB i know you put a lot of effort in your gambling to make the right bets at the right time but have you ever thought of fading someone and cashing big with no regards to with how your fund wants you to bet.

Like fade jjgold for 1 month or something. Call it a separate fund and name it The Fade Fund. This is were you practically do not do any work on your part..just find their pick and bet the other side for your unit size regardless of whether is +EV or the probabilities are in your favor, etc. Like this guy you fade is so bad there is no need for you to do any work other than placing the bets.

I lurked for almost a year using the odds page as a scoreboard before I decided to try to increase the gambling IQ here.

That was when the odds page would have some Forum links at the bottom.

When I would come up with an NBA play, I would peruse SBR and almost always find that there were more posters on the other side than me.

That was always a good sign.

I came to SBR for the Fades, but stayed for the laughs.

No offense to Twizzle, but that guy was usually on the other side of me, and I was the one making the profit.

There were others too, perrennial fades.

Good to know KVB. I thought I was the only one doing it but yes I like that you comsinstenly find someone that is most of the times betting the opposite of you and loses. It's a big confidence booster for me.

You're right JJ, my entire life has been gambling and usually around this time I'm flat broke wondering how I'm going to tell my wife (at the time, I had 3 of these things) how I totally took Detroit that week thinking that it can't lose and by the way it was the mortgage money. Then when Detroit gets blown out like normal and somehow fails to cover I have to go out and hustle a buck up because Christmas is right around the corner and I got 3 kids who need shyt along with an 'ole lady who also is only staying with me because I give her gifts and monetary perks because of my low self esteem. So to make up the money I usually have to go out and let dudes I meet at those night clubs do some Slurry Pumping if you know what I mean. Hey it sounds bad but once you get used to getting pile driven, its pretty easy work, and if you do your sphincter exercises correctly, you can milk 5 to 6 dudes in a night. Which is just enough to make the mortgage money back for next week's New England / New York Jets game. Which being a dumbass, I always think that New York is sick of being new England's bitch so it is back to the night clubs to pick up dudes.
