In week 2 Patriots were -5 1/2 at the Jets. Today at home.. -7
Shouldn't the Pats at least be -9 today? It's not like they've lost to any bad teams in the meantime.

Line is sus. No doubt about that. Flat spot for the pats after that wild game last week. They probably get the win but scrape by.

I'm waiting till the last second to see where the line goes on this game. If it goes up its a suck out.

The Patriots have a lot of injuries, so I'm guessing that's why it's not over 7... not that that's stopped me from getting on NE heavy.

Pats or no play, agree.
I'll bet in game live if NYJ get a lead early.
See if I can get some value on NEP there if NYJ goes up like 10-6 or so.
I can see NYJ drawing first blood with Pats winning the game in the second half.
Just my take on this game.
Both our local games (NE/NYJ, and NYG) are dogshit, dogshit or not there's money opportunities there.

i doubt Pats are flat today, they have not won a home game all year, some were heartbreakers against mia, tb & dal. i know jets off bye & this is revenge division game, but i think pats get a comfortable for once

The beating the Jets took by NE earlier this year was very close on the stat sheet, except for 4 interceptions by NY.
I also see a close game and will take the 7.

I was thinking the same thing. I believe it closed at -6. This one been at 7 since the lines came out.
NE is a bad team, don't be fooled by the media hype about these close losses. They have no running game and no deep passing threats. They were lucky to beat Houston and were outplayed for 3 quarters. Not sure why teams don't follow the New Orleans plan from Week 3. Flood the line and make Jones throw deep. He did nothing that game.

That's a good point. I don't know how to judge the Jets right now. I could see them do a 180.

Bill Belichick is a mastermind against rookie quarterbacks. Take Patriots -7

And the Titans beat the Bills.
I don't think anyone, books included, know what to do with anything today.
They don't call week seven Bye-mageddon for no reason.
Six teams are on byes and the teams that are playing are missing a lot of key players.
IMO this is the most interesting week of the season.
I said interesting, not the best or the most exciting.
Expect a few unheralded players to have big games today.
Like an Elijah Mitchell for instance.

jets +7 is sharp if one can stomach it. they could lose by 2 tds or more again, but the angles are on their side

Yes, this game is angle laden.
We get both games here in Ct. on national TV (NYG and NYJ before the streaming options)
Like I said before Giants game and Jets/Pats are both dogshit games, both with interesting betting angles though.

First play, Jets get a defensive holding penalty...on a running play. Can't make it up.

Jets have already quit. No effort on either side of the ball. Salah should be embarrassed.

So the Jets have a rookie QB, and their backup is a guy who's never played a snap in the NFL.

Books keep handing free cash. This line should have opened -14.5 to force money to be bet on Jets.
