It's like Cousins man...the QB can only do so much, but honestly if your defense cannot get off the field on 3rd down, your QB & team are going to be mediocre at best.

Turbinsky in Chi that one year they went to playoffs made a living converting 3rd downs and their defense was tops in league at getting off the field on 3rd downs.

Same team for 3 years, but those 3rd down %s went in opposite directions and the end result was going from elite on both sides to mediocre in under 24 months.
