It is a DNS issue causing the outage. Facebook’s DNS records were deleted from the global routing tables and nobody knows why. Facebook network team is in control over its DNS records so someone fukked up an internal change or it was done intentionally

Gotcha. I knew that I had seen something yesterday about a "whistleblower" from Facebook.

Just read that Facebook makes over $200,000 in ads every minute.

How long has it been down now?

expect more of this as more companies have employees working at home where their security will be more vulnerable.
This next year will be a field day for hackers.

Frances Haugen says in her time with Facebook she saw, "conflicts of interest between what was good for the public and what was good for Facebook." Scott Pelley reports.

Facebook has a ex employee whistleblower that has docs on their censorship activities

They most likely shut site down and deleted files

Like I said if your on social media other than trying to make money with a business your a loser

Lol he said she said insecure losers looking for an identity

Someone wiped out the routing table leading to all Facebook data centers causing the major outage. This in turn caused the DNS failure. Plenty of network engineers misconfigure routing from time to time but not to this global scale.

Person is fukked whoever it may be
