    Canadian Neteller Users: Question.....
Apologies if this has already been discussed in another thread, but I'm looking for any experience from Canadian posters who use Neteller.

Would the slowdown (Crawl is a better term, I imagine) that is affecting EFT payments to bank accounts affecting Canadians as well? If I recall correctly, it is not, however my Neteller account is in US dollars, so would this present a problem even though I am transferring funds to a Canadian bank? (Scotia).

If Mudcat, Hulu, Ronald, whomever are in the same boat in terms of a US dollar account, any feedback and/or experience would be greatly appreciated. I guess I could simply ask Neteller, but I figure this is the fastest and most informative method!

I do have a Netcard, but of course, the $1,000 limit does have it's disadvantages when in need of a more serious chunk of change.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Sincerely, Stumpage

Thanks Degenerate...The 1.9% rate aside, that's great news and exactly what I was hoping to hear. Much obliged.....

I haven't taken an EFT transfer since the 11th and 13th of this month - they were handled fine but that was before the main trouble started - but FWIW I do look at another forum where I have seen at least a handful of reports in the last week of Canadians still getting EFT's promptly.

I don't recall any of them specifying the currency of their Neteller accounts so I don't know for sure if the USD would be a factor. I suspect at least some of them would have US Neteller accounts. But I'm speculating.

I have a USD Neteller account and will be starting to pull in some funds starting on Monday morning so I'll let you know how things go.

I haven't done anything yet and my account is in Canadian dollars so I'm afraid I'm not much help here.

I am going to try and do a couple of withdrawals from Pinny and Mansion in the next week to my Neteller acct and then promptly to my bank, lest anything catastrophic happen to neteller while my money is there. Just waiting on Mansion to verify my ID and I'll do everything at once. I'll let you know how it goes.

Thanks guys.....Degenerate's post is promising, and I'll fire off an email to Neteller in the next day or so and see what sort of response I get.

I bumped a thread to ask if people who have received their EFT's would specify the currency of their Neteller accounts. Hopefully some of them will see the bump and respond.

                  Transfer to British Bank

Is your neteller account a USD account? If so, did they exchange the funds to British Pounds, charge 1.9%, and then credit your bank account?

To follow up: 35K EFT from my USD Neteller account initiated yesterday morning is now in my CDN bank account.

                    Initiating the next EFT now.

Are you pulling out of Neteller?

I'm pulling almost all my funds right out of the offshore game. I'm taking a break from betting and am going to focus on my gambling research (plus other concerns unrelated to betting) until I feel sure that the dust has settled on the industry. I expect it could last anywhere from 1-6 months.

That next batch of EFT's I mentioned (requested, for all intents and purposes, yesterday morning), are in my Canadian bank account now.
