NWS says New Haven Ct. is 'ground zero' tomorrow when Hurricane Henri touches down.
My office was/is in New Haven, right off the Long Island Sound.
My condo is 20 miles south in Fairfield County.
I'll be looking right into the eye of this bad boy in 24 hours.
Normally they don't touchdown in the Long Island Sound, the last time was that monster Hurricane Gloria in 1972.
Usually they make land fall in the Carolina's someplace.
Four to eight inches of rain expected right here, 70 mph winds, widescale flooding...
(Real wrath of God type of stuff, fire and brimstone come down from the sky, rivers and seas boiling, human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together. Mass Hysteria)
Adding insult to injury tomorrow is a full moon too.
And as all us geeks know full moon has major gravitational pull on bodies of water.
Not that it means anything, but tomorrow is the second full moon of the month making it a "blue moon"
Any-hoo, I'm thinking of heading over to The Home Depot for one of those backup generators I just may need.
