Oregon/Oregon State Games Will Require Your Papers For Attendance
All fans over the age of 12 must show either proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours in order to attend Oregon and Oregon State football games this fall, the schools announced on Friday.

The move makes the Ducks and the Beavers the first power five schools to make such a requirement.

The Ducks, who opened at No. 11 in the preseason AP Top 25 poll, will host Fresno State on Sept. 4 to kick off their season. Oregon State will open the year on the road at Purdue, but will host Hawaii on Sept. 11.

Oregon is one of several Pac-12 schools that is requiring all students and employees be vaccinated against the coronavirus. Washington Gov. Jay Inslee required earlier this week that all state employees working in an educational role get vaccinated, which included Washington State coach Nick Rolovich — who has been against receiving a vaccine thus far. He even missed the Pac-12 media day in July, as he was the only coach in the conference who wasn’t vaccinated. Rolovich has said that he will comply with the ruling.

Oregon is averaging just more than 2,000 new cases of the coronavirus as of Friday night, according to The New York Times, which is a nearly 75% increase over the past two weeks. 57% of the state is fully vaccinated, the 12th best in the country.

The vaccination card is slightly larger than a business card. If you can't carry it with you stay home and watch the game on TV. No one wants to watch someone die in the stands at a football game or collapse from covid and have to bring ambulance in the stands and interrupt the game.

The libtards will love this. They love masks and vaccines. They believe covid is the end of the world. The ones that support freedom and not government control will hate this.

Will Nick Rolovich be Washington State’s football coach after Monday?

After weeks of speculation, commentary, debate and Rolovich’s refusal to answer questions about his vaccination status, we should know soon.

That’s because if Rolovich, the state’s highest paid employee ($3.2 million annual salary), is not in compliance with the state’s COVID-19 vaccination mandate that takes effect Monday, he can no longer work as WSU’s football coach.

To continue coaching, Rolovich needs three things to happen: have his exemption request decided upon (which is no sure thing); have it approved; and if that happens, have his supervisor, WSU Athletic Director Pat Chun, determine that Rolovich can effectively do his job while keeping the public safe.

WSU employees were encouraged to make exemption requests by Oct. 4, but there is no guarantee that all requests will be processed by Monday. WSU employees still waiting for their exemption request to be ruled upon when the mandate takes effect will be unable to work until it is decided upon — and approved.

The Times reached out to WSU’s athletic department Friday, but Rolovich was unavailable to comment on his exemption status.

last night at duke and this goes for the entire basketball season, you have to download your vax card online and do what they call a check in.once you have did this it good all time, but you have to every event on the day of the event check in each time you attend and they will send you a confirmation by phone to show when you go past the doors........

Those of you who support this are absolute fools, this is literally "your papers please" coming to the US. There is no such thing as anti-vax; anti-vax means you don't think anyone should be allowed to get the vaccine. You either believe that governmnf is allowed to control you (like a socialist commie rat) or that you're allowed to make your own decisions. This isn't a slippery slope, it's falling off a fukkin cliff.

The "papers" required is a small 2" x 3" paper card that indicates you are vaxxed and are not a threat to the other fans of spreading the virus.

I am not sure how educated that you are with this virus, but vaccinated fans spread the virus just as well as unvaccinated fans.

And what good is being done by showing a card that says that you got vaccinated last January? Now in October, you are no better off than someone who never got vaccinated at all.

But it is a requirement to show your papers. Keep in mind this is a "pandemic of the unvaccinated" so if you're vaxxed it shouldn't matter if anyone else isn't; in addition, the unvaxxed who have had the virus have more natural immunity than the vaxxed who haven't. This isn't about safety, it's about control.

You can watch the game at a bar or home if you are not vaccinated. Why would you go to the game and catch the virus from the vaccinated people?
