The bipartisan infrastructure bill includes a provision that would require auto manufacturers to equip "advanced alcohol monitoring systems" in all new cars.
Does the new bill have a provision to teach dummies how to post a working link?
That's right! MANDATORY BREATHELIZER in all new vehicles
If so I won't be buying a new car in California anytime soon. I only drive after drinking. Been doing that for years and as far as I can remember. I'm actually a better driver after drinking but I never get to lit or drunk when driving as I know better and my limit. I keep my head on straight. Still not sure I could pass the breathelizer test though half the time I get in my car and drive..
I like my drink more then a new car. I'm out.

Will they make them fit it into old cars as well?

They won't but your insurance premiums would be twice as much for a used car than a new car and then people would have to buy new cars.

So we won’t have drunk drivers in new vehicles. Is irresponsible behavior an idiots right too?

No one in the south can afford them. They still drive cars from the 80s. Not by choice.

No one drives an 80s car where I live. 80s was the worse decade for cars. Most of the models were cheaply made with bad engines. The old cars people drive here are from the 60s when everything was made in America.

I really only liked one car in the 80's.. 1986 Buick Grand National.
Well the 1980 Pontiac TransAm I might like also. It had flair and style back in the day. I was only 12 years old though when this car came out.
