I'm not sure if any fariway actually breaks 50 yards wide but good point.

Quail hollow is more like 30, Copperhead 20, Harbour town 20-30, Oaks Course 30 or so.

You have to all the way back to the Plantation Course to get 60 yard fairway widths.

I know they vary a bit at different lengths, I have that data to, but usually the widest we see is 35 yards.

That's exactly what we were discussing. Would the official tell him right then or will they DQ him after he signs the scorecard, or something like that?

Also, it seemed like he got a "Total Relief" from the stand and not just a drop from the garbage can.

I don't think the ref checked the ball to see if it was damaged either.
