Why do we continue to play poker steve? It's like being insane, doing the same thing over and over and over....I've been reading about/studying/playing poker for decades, was a dealer, know about "ranges", position, balancing all that shit and I still fkn lose.

Guys catch flushes on me all the fkn time and I NEVER get a dude catch 2 pair or something when I get a flush, and when I do, the board pairs and he shows me a full house.

Sometimes I have no clue Jay. My results live are proven +ev so I still believe in that (in casinos), but the internet climate is so f'd up thanks to the government messing with it that all the fish are gone. Now the question is, with me knowing that, why do I keep doing it?

THAT I don't have the answer to, lol. Pisses me right the F off tbh. Might be done until the live rooms open back up.

That's a good problem to have though. I'm ok live but horrible at online....
Live is so much different than online by the sheer amount of hands you're a part of. I like *seeing* my opponents too. I hate poker though. It's too much of a grind, and then the rake...

Good luck to you as well bud. Agreed on nothing like a hot poker run, you feel like a God lol. Buying/paying for stuff with poker profits is a sweetness unlike any other. Not real unless you're legit pro, though cause you're only going to keep chasing that feeling and running into variance.

Agreed on live being better. Theoretically you would think online would be because of the vastly increased amount of hands, especially if you multi table, but like I said it's almost all sharks/bots since the government associated it with money laundering and Black Friday happened.

If/when I find a good online room to play at I'll let you know.
