Gus Bradley hired as Raiders DC
Would have been a playoff team with a decent defense

The Las Vegas Raiders have named Gus Bradley their new defensive coordinator, the team announced Tuesday.
Bradley, a former head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars for four seasons (2013 to 2016), was most recently the defensive coordinator for the Los Angeles Chargers the past four seasons.
The team announced the hiring on Twitter using a photo of former Chargers offensive coordinator Ken Whisenhunt but quickly deleted the tweet to correct its mistake.
He replaces defensive coordinator Paul Guenther, who was fired by coach Jon Gruden late in the 2020 season. Defensive line coach Rod Marinelli took over as interim defensive coordinator to finish the season.

He was not very good as the Charger's D coordinator and they have much more talent on the defensive side of the ball.

I could actually-- and yes, I do think Burrow is big time. Unfortunate injury, but those two guys are made of absolutely different stuff...I am sure of it.

Carr, flicks the ball away like a girl whenever in danger. Scared to run too. This year was the first sign of him sprouting testicles...probably because of money and he wants to actually keep playing...That is, also, not to say he does not want to win and tries hard at other things -- he does. Therefore, his lack of courage is a real indictment. He is actually a nice guy who I like, and who made some strides this year, probably because of his strong faith too, but at some point along the way he never developed 'it.' Nature or nurture - I don't know, but I lean nature...

He is just scared. Scared to put his body on the line and take a shot....Burrow was the 'man in the arena.' Carr tried to have it both ways. You can 't expect men to respect someone who plays calculated and scared. Maybe we should, but this is not how we are wired and not why we watch sports...
