Surprised the Browns are favored to win by 6 1/2 or 7.

Mb they play the starters for a half or mid 3rd. No reason to risk anymore injuries for a team still nursing many

Was hoping the Steelers had more to play for. Would love to see Faker gripping especially after last weeks choke job to the Jets.

I sure hope not as a Phins fan. We get in if we win in Buffalo (probably not happening) OR Indy loses at home to Jax (not happening) OR Browns lose to Pit.

Pit winning is likely our only way in.

          Go Steelers!

Steelers can win it pretty easily if they want to !

That was my initial reaction also. If the Steelers were playing everybody they would have to be favored by 3 or 4. I think I might like Pittsburgh. I can see the huge pressure of the noose tightening on the Browns and another choke job !

i was wondering what tampa had to play for week 17 but it seems they do have something

The Buccaneers would clinch the top Wild Card spot with a win over Atlanta next Sunday, which would mean a first-round matchup with the winner of the NFC East, which can still be one of three teams

that is huge for the bucs. you know brady wants a big lead to be able to rest with the starters.

Line now 10. Might be worth a shot on Pitt. Tomlin rarely lets them roll over in one of these late-season games. Doubt they get blown out no matter who's the QB.

Browns just lost to the Jets with everything on the line, it wouldn’t surprise me if Pittsburgh beats them by double digits or shut them out.

If the Bills lose to the Dolphins and drop to 12-4 and the Steelers win going to 13-3, doesn't Pitt get the #2 seed?

Yes... with steelers throwing in the towel no big ben, buff may see pitts down big at half then decide to pull their starters at half... that's my best guess. Tua 1st half and bills going all out 1st half seems like a gift. Opinions?

Tomlim didn't directly say it but reading between the lines, he's going to play the starters very sparingly.

Steelers starters are banged up so I think it is a good move by Tomlin. The 2 seed doesn't get a bye week and home field doesn't mean much this season with empty stadiums.

If the Browns can’t beat Mason Rudolph and Steeler back ups, they don’t deserve making the playoffs.

Steelers don’t care playing the Browns again in the playoffs 1st round. They are really hoping to avoid Baltimore.

BTW - Sendejo is out because of Covid and the only WR that caught passes Sunday, Jamarcus Bryant is in contract tracing. The Browns might be severely undermanned another week in a row. The starting receivers have to test negative the next 2 days which might not happen.
