Juwan Howard has the Michigan Wolverines playing some impressive basketball this season. They are off to a 6-0 start this season with five wins by double-digits. And they beat Penn State 62-58 in their Big Ten opener. Now the Wolverines are rested and ready to go!
It looks like it’s going to be another poor year in Lincoln for head coach Fred Hoiberg and the Huskers. They just don’t have much talent or chemistry, and that has shown in their 4-4 start this season that has included a 1-5 ATS record in lined games. They lost by double-digits to Georgia Tech (64-75), Creighton (74-98) and Wisconsin (53-67) in their last three games outside of Doane.
Michigan is 12-1 SU & 9-4 ATS in its last 13 meetings with Nebraska as Big Ten opponents. Amazingly, 10 of those 12 wins have come by double-digits, including each of the last four. Michigan won 82-58 and 79-68 in their two meetings last year. It should be more of the same in their first matchup of 2020-21.
The Huskers are 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games overall. Nebraska is 2-10 ATS in its last 12 home games, including 0-7 ATS in its last seven games as a home underdog.
