#984a) he has an excuse for every loss he has
b) Morale? Who the hell is Morale, and what team does he play for?
c) the guy is clueless, if he had a clue he would have known Conley is a top ten PG in efficiency this season.
d) Of all the starting PG's in the league only Dejounte Murray, Devonte Graham, and Jrue Holiday have fewer turnovers on the average per game. That makes Conley fourth best, if you want to consider Haliburton a regular starting PG, fifth best but Conley has a better PER rating which makes Conley more efficient.
e) Conley's assist to turnover ratio is rock solid.
f) I think I made my point.
Let me explain something to Skippy since he has no idea as to how analytics works.
You see Skippy, analytics, or in this case sports analytics works like this.
Analytics is a science.
It's the science of collecting data and using that data to form a conclusion as to how an individual, team, or business, what have you will perform. Not just certain criteria, but all relevant data, you can't cherry pick certain pieces of data like you do, but you must collect all the relevant data.
For instance, just because Aaron Jones has a very good yards per carry rate you think he's the best running back in the league.
Just because he has a fraction higher yards per carry rate does not make hi so.
You fail to realize Kamara is a much better pass receiver, you fail to realize that Dalvin Cook led the NFL (that's all of NFL) in scrimmage yards last season.
Fact of the matter is a healthy McCaffrey, Kamara, Cook are all better all around backs, and I'm not even sure Jones is a better back than a 100 percent healthy Barkley, and Jones is a mediocre blocking back at best but you will argue until you are blue in the face that Jones is the best RB in all of the NFL based on one piece of data, and that piece of data is only a fraction or a decimal point better than second best.
The reason why he argues Jones is the best back in the NFL based on one piece of data and not the collection of all the relevant data is because he has this need to think he's the smartest man in the room. He has this need to feel important, that he thinks he knows what he is saying.
And he does this all the time. And everybody know this about Skippy here.
Based on all the relevant data, not a piece of data here, another cherry picked piece of data there, but after collecting all the analytics, which once again is the collection all the relevant data, the logical conclusion would be although Conley is not an elite PG like Lillard, Conley is a solid PG.
Just like Jones is not the best RB in the NFL, he's not crap, I think he's fifth best, some analysts say third best, some say fourth, but not the best, hardly the best.
I'm an analyst, this is what I do for a living, I am told by people in positions higher than me, that make more money than me that I am very good at what I do, so I guess I am. I've been an I/T Operations Analyst for a long time, since I got out of college.
I don't say this to win friends, influence uncles or to impress people, because telling people I am an analyst usually induces yawns and tears of boredom, it's not like I put out fires, I bring this up to Skippy because I know what I am saying, Skippy does not.
Oh, I see Skippy won a few games last night.
Still makes him a loser.
OK, lunch time.
I expect two things to happen next (let's see how good an analyst I am)
I expect next from Skippy is to
a) tell me I am a dumb shit
b) I expect him to spin, twist, and manipulate his opinions into thinking he's right again, and the smartest man in the room.
He is not.Comment -

It's not your thread anyway, it's an open thread.
Just like the US Open is an open tournament, open to all, it's not an invitational where you must be invited to participate.
Now if you don't like what we have to say about you in this open thread then what you could do is go pro where you have an option to control as to who has access to this open thread.
Oh, but you don't have a spare hundred to pony up and become pro status here do you?
Because if you did you would done so by by now.
Now I don't answer to you, it'll be a cold day in hell when I do answer to you but I'll make an exception this time.
I was in this open thread on a Friday night because there is a foot and a half of snow and ice on the ground here and our Governor pretty much is pleading with us to don't go out, because you see Skippy if I could go out this weekend, trust me I would have.
So, I had a couple of hour free time and there's your answer.
Come on, an idiot could have figured that out.Comment -

#1005I'm in this open thread to point out that you are the dumb shit, just like the dozens and dozens of other seasoned veteran posters here that say so as well and to point out to new posters here of your shady business and flawed logic.

Learn how to read a map.
While you're at it learn how to handicap.
And learn how to listen to.
A lot of games today, post early so I can fade early.
Thanks in advance.Comment -
