Wound up in Hopsital Sunday during Bills/Steelers

Boys..I'm ok now..but around 10:15 pm Sunday I started going into a strange heart rhythm.

drove myself to Hospital....freaking AFIB...ATRIAL FIBRILLATION..just got out today.

all vitals good...MODERATION BOYS...thank god I did not have to go o blood thinners.

whats really phucked up I was transported via ambulance to their main Hospital on the Beach and I was watching score of Buffalo/Steelers.

Sounds like your arteries are clogging if you got AFIB going on. Could need stents, blood thinners, get a blood dye test as that will tell the story. Don't want to mess around with that stuff, you could stroke out. I had a little AFIB going on last year at night time and I'm healthy and in decent shape, I eat great and exercise daily.. Clogged arteries is hereditary though and that runs in my family. ..

My older brother had AFIB big time and needed stents put in last year and blood thinners and he's only 4 years older then me and he's in decent shape. My mother needed a triple bypass at 65 years old, clogged arteries. My brother and mom don't drink though, I do..

I started drinking a full wine glass of Tequila every night and started to take a baby aspirin every other day about a year ago.. Haven't had AFIB in a year now after doing that. I feel great today. Raw garlic clove and a beets I eat regularly also.

I'm doomed though in time, will need stents soon probably. I'm just buying time.. I'm on no meds today.


If you google and look at what a strong drink of Tequila nightly can do is lower colest levels and help with clogging of arteries. It works, it's working for me and I'm sure I'm borderline today at 52 years of age.

Good luck and prayers to you HB...I also have Afib...lost 40+ plus pounds in the last 5 years...down from 220 to 180lbs...I made it all the way down to 170 but put on 10 more during the pandemic shutdown...I only drink socially (don't smoke and don't do drugs)...and I walk at least 3-4 miles a day...Diet is by far and away the most important factor...I definitely try to be more health conscience and watch what I eat...also smaller portions and cut out most, if not all sugars!...also with me losing the weight, it got rid of my sleep apnea with no medications or C-pap breathing apparatuses necessary...

Afib is quite common. It is not caused by clogged arteries. It means your hearts chambers are not in rythym.. The top and bottom chambers have to be in sync. Most of the time, Dr's do not know what exactly causes it. In rare cases, it causes a stroke. In most cases, the patient is given what is known as a beta blocker. Those slow the heart down giving the heart a breather so it can get back into rhythm.

Most of the time, people will not have to take medications and can live with A Fib. It just depends on how healthy your heart is. Valves good, no blockages, etc...

They will run more tests, but this looks like a simple case of too much stress and alcohol, along with smoking.

Some life style changes may be in order.

Make sure you get bloodwork and an EKG done every year maybe every couple years do a little stress test echo

That absurd back door cover last night by the Ravens in the final seconds with that horrific safety gave me AFIB and cardiac problems, still recovering now..

Had to double up on the blood thinners, beta blockers, aspirin and Tequila after that..

booze

try get more sleep.

unfortunately they can not pin point the culprit..it could be one or all of these factors. good thing the heart was not damaged and the doctors feel it is 100% reversible.

all u young guys ...party yes..abuse no..one day your body will come a calling for all the damage. moderation my friends..moderation.
