He can't coach but he can recruit. That is what they pay the big bucks for. He just could never find a QB at Texas in those last few years.

Mack had a rough patch for a minute but Texas has had rougher patches since he left. Guy can coach. QB problems will always kill you and that was Texas at the end. Mack is a great guy too.

He's 69 years young. Part of me wants to see him go back to TX and fix that program just like he did now at NC. I liked watching him do the Ncaaf broadcasts after TX, always picked up something new from his comments. Seems like a coach that kids want to play for
