How much money do you need to be a pro gambler?
Not how much you gamble with

    Not withdrawing for living expenses

How much "free" money would you need to be a professional gambler

I think I would need $10,000 extra and I could make it

          this is what google said

You need a sizable bankroll in order to properly spread your bets and survive variance. The bare minimum you should aim for is $20,000, but it's better to have closer to $50,000.Nov 16, 2017

Rudy I think you are significantly weak at 10K.

100K gets you into the ball park. JMHO.

The fact that you had as high as 30,000 Betpoints in your possession at once but never cashed out one SINGLE BETPOINT is all you need to know Mr. Dick Fukk Tracy..

JFC, I could write a best seller on your fukkin point history alone.

I feel you need 100k / cold, hard, cash. You can bet dimes with that at 1% of the bank. If you have 10 pro plays a week or 20 in 2 weeks and you can consistently go 11 and 9/so you make a dime after juice/and that is 2 dimes a month.

Not sure i call that a pro, yet. 50k, maybe that is a pro's income. Enough to live on. It would be possible to lose 20k pretty fast and that should be the end of the game.

There are other ways than trying to beat 10% juice, which is the hardest way. Those people are not writing books, blowing their horn, they have an edge and they are not sharing it.

You need an edge/scientific advantage/it is not possible to do so without value. But, you know / your time is just as important as the money / full time job to do this as a pro.

if you can do it with an extra 10k just for wagering,
you should have no problem making that 10k

                    so resolve to get it.
                    netting 10% a week on 10k is 52k+/yr
                    which is making a living.

It's not how much you have it's how much you win over time gambling. Pro gambler is a subjective term.

I'd say you are a PROFESSIONAL PRO GAMBLER and arrived in life if you can make a living off it and that's all you do!! NO JOB but gambling and winning. Very few achieve that status in life!!!! Keep your day time job if you don't fit into that category.

I'm not a pro gambler but I grind and pull profits here and there. Been sports gambling for 30 years and still standing. I don't deposit and reload in books often and that is because I have discipline in gambling, cap hard and don't chase or load up often. My bets stay consistent.

                            Just my take.

i would need $25K to start with that is pure extra money that i could afford lose and not even flinch. 2% bets would be $500 and i think that is a good start.

that said, i would still need a source of income as i hopefully built up.

This guy gambles millions of dollars a year and loses.. Doesn't make him a professional gambler..

                                                        Rudy,

You had better not be drinking anymore you plan on going pro. The only way you're finding an edge is to put in long hours, and have a BR of 100K+ and betting all you can on +EV situations. Problem is, it's hard to get any real money down anymore. You will be flagged as soon as you start winning, then you will have limits.

                                                        Not really worth it anymore.
