#7this is the future of combat sports. MTV's Celebrity death match basically predicted it
find relevance through recognizable old names and social media current names
Kylie Jenner vs Tanya Harding would sell 1000x more pay per views over Anthony Joshua vs Deontay WilderComment -

#13right,
I guess my point is 40lbs of muscle of what?
I don't think anyone here thinks 40lbs of muscle tips the "scales" in this case
a 145 lb professional boxer that is considered one of the all time greats vs 190 lbs of what?
I'm 195-220 depending on the season and always in decent shape. I wouldn't bet on myself vs a 112 lb female boxer with a 2-2 professional record. It's not a wrestlling match or street fightComment -

If Floyd was your boy and you guys were drinking in the bar. and some guy just a lil above avg in height starting jawing at him trying to fight.
would you be like. "oh hey, no champ, let's not get into it with this tall drink of water, he might penetrate you up over some extra reach advantage"
or would you sit back and just beg to see the dude get his ass beat, by a damn near untouchable talent?
that is a bar fight. this is a boxing match, with plenty of rules to keep any weight advantage more at bay.
do a little research on Floyd. Boxing made him, Boxing Saved him. without boxing there is no Floyd Mayweather. he needs it.
i don't think any fighter in history has been more connected to this sweet science from his birth than Floyd, his freakin Dad fought Sugar Ray Leonard, It's in his blood. The guy had damn near 100 amateur fights, He fought in the olympics. He's fought 50 times for money, where all parties involved were desperate to win and feed their families. He never Lost.
But yeah this guy that does Tik Tok and made some $ off kids swallowing tide pods might be an issue because...... 40 lbs and a couple of inches.Comment -

To be clear, I never said I think he's going to beat Mayweather. I just think it might be closer than you think.Comment -

it will end up looking "very close"
Floyd can have this fight, let it look close get paid lots of $ then fight the other "better brother" for even more money if they make it seem like it could be close.. He wants and needs easy money above all else. So he has enough smart people near him to tell him how to milk this shit for awhile.
but if it were the real deal?
How many times do you think this Paul guy has been hit in the Jaw with a below avg professional boxing punch?
How many times do you think Floyd would get hit by the avg youtube paul punch out of every 1000 thrown?Comment -

#30mayweather will dance around and KO him halfway through when he starts boxing if its real. But its an exhibition match and Paul knows he cant hang with floyd. This is just a money grabbing attempt. Whomever is setting these fights up for Paul doesnt want whatever career he has to be ended in under a year time period.Comment -

#31Absolute joke Mayweather is just collecting cash here. He could literally not get hit by one punch if he wanted to! He will make it a show and get his payday. Weight means nothing in a boxing match when the level of skill is this far apart. A street fight is a different story, but there is zero chance this is a competitive boxing match 👎Comment -

#32In the clips I've seen, Paul has slow feet, terrible footwork, no defense. Ridiculous fight if this is true. As others have said, Mayweather will make a show of it, but no chance Paul lands anything.Comment -
