On Saturday, Twitter and the woke mob applauded Vanderbilt football coach Derek Mason for playing the first woman in a major college game.

Sunday afternoon, Mason was fired by Vanderbilt after the stunt. Life comes at you fast!

I think scoring zero points had more to do with the firing. He was on borrowed time following Franklin.

Impossible job. Franklin is the only one that could win there.

They should hire Monken and run the option. It's their only chance.

Since 1950, Vanderbilt has had ONE coach have more than one winning season other than Franklin. Unreal.

No, he did go 6-7, 5-7 and 6-7 which was pretty much their best run. Second-best coach for Vandy other than Franklin. The next one will probably not pull it off.
