I couldn’t have a cushier situation in LA. Sick house in the hills with beach and country club memberships via my girl (I do more than fine myself in commercial real estate so no gold digging angle at all), but I’d rather be back in ny, or a ski town like park city, or south florida on the water prime fishing, etc. I moved across the country bc she was stuck there. Hollywood (not an actress/ or an actor you pricks) forces most ppl in the biz to stay here for life. They are all secretly / now not so secretly hoping this pandemic lets them all leave and continue biz via zoom lol. So many have fled already. I thought I was stuck here for life. Now with my girl seemingly able to WFH permanently I’m ecstatic about the possibility of moving somewhere far away in the next couple years. Legit anywhere but California

LA Is an incredible place with lovely weather on the Pacific Ocean and when there’s no traffic, wildfires, bums, or blm riots it can be pretty great, but the people I’m surrounded by are insufferable Hollywood pussies. Thank the gods this election is over. I was close to boiling over and making a serious scene too many times. Many nights on the couch simply over questioning Biden’s mental health or disagreeing with far left bs blm riots, defund policies and woke cancel culture running rampant: I was legit almost cancelled 3 penetrating times myself during this pandemic for being a rationale American that questioned the far left demands. I'm stuck here in southern California mainly due to family responsibilities. Just an average working Joe who has build up enough to live comfortably. I'm in south orange county now. However I've done tours of duty in San Diego, Palmdale, Palm springs area and North orange county. I'm about as Southern Californian as you can get. Its sad to see what is happening to this state.
South Florida is nice in the winter. That would be an option IF I were free to move.
