    Since when did a tie = a loss?

    On a side note, buying and selling points is 9 times out of 10 -EV. Books wouldn't offer it if it was +EV for you.

    well i did cause i dont see the cowboys and saints winning by only 3 against TB and KC. in retrospect, tampa and KC +14 is also a good play if you think it'll be close.. but these two games i dont see being close.

    3 is a key number, and yes essentially all 6 point ones online reduce or push. I do not bet many teasers but if you look at alternate spreads it is not bad value according to them.

    on 3 team 10 point teasers or 4 team 13 point teaser ties lose

    on 2 - however many teams 6-7 point teasers ties reduce to the next lowest payout since there are different odds for 5-6-7-etc teams

    you will always make more money straight betting -3 than teasing it.

    2 is a dead number, 1 is semi-common but still doesn't hit that much. losing by 3 is a push. the only great thing is a win instead of a push if they win by 3. And you still have to hit the other leg for it to even matter.
