i did it with Amazon and an online hospitality start up company. You should always dress the part even if it is online. Do your research.
With amazon, they wear their own clothes to the warehouse, so i just wore a polo shirt for the online interview. with the start up company, couldn't find out what they normally wear, so wore a polo with a sport coat.
