Too many points given here. I'm well aware of who's out for both teams, but I think the Mavericks can still get buckets with who's playing, whereas the Jazz will be hard pressed to consistently manufacture points with Mitchell now sidelined, especially considering they've already been strapped for buckets sans their best shooter (Bogdanovic). I like Dallas in this spot, they should be a live dog.

Lakers -5

I was gonna wait to get some clarification on personnel before I pulled the trigger on my next play but it looks like we pretty much know who's in and who's out at this juncture, with the only exception being Danny Green, who still remains questionable.

Lakers have looked pretty lethargic in bubble ball but that's kinda why I like them tonight. They need to establish some positive mojo before they start playing games that matter and this is a good spot to get their groove back. Their last seeding game is against the lowly Kings and they might use that game as an opportunity to rest starters so this game against the Nuggets is a good chance to back the Lakeshow with a relatively modest number.

NBA games at this point are glorified exhibitions and team mindsets are all over the place. But I think we get good effort tonight from the Lakers and that's all you can ask for. Their backcourt might be sketchy if Green sits, because KCP and obviously Rondo are already out, but the bigs look good to go and Quinn Cook can provide L.A. some outside shooting presence.

Let's get it!
