i would say frontcourt question is better just for two big men starters. small forward is really not so much front-court even though "forward" is in the name.

    kareem/worthy

    walton/lucas (?)

    parish/maxwell/mchale as mentioned.

wilt and anyone....... russell and anyone....... kareem and anyone

So we'd throw a few gutter balls in practice let him think we were a couple of hamburgers, get him to bet 50 dollars or so a line....

.... long story short he figured it out as he was leaving the lanes with an empty wallet.
friend of mine was vacationing in spain as 20 year-old. low handicap golfer. playing later in the day by himself.... 2nd tee, some little 13 year-old jumps over the fence with a few clubs in a bag, asks my buddy "can i play with you?". Sure.. moments later "hey you want to play for $20 a hole?"......... sure, why not? does the kid have the money?......... of course it didn't matter. it was jose maria olazabal.... and note it was pesatas, but i have no idea how many. but that type of stakes. many years ago

I agree. Healthy Bill Walton was rarely seen, but awesome.

^^When was Bill Walton ever healthy is the question? That tall free spirit goof hippy was born with Chronic dengen back and spine issues.

Does seem like the type of guy to have fun in life though with not a care in the world..

Here's the logic so many do overlook:
If Walton was born in 2005, he would be getting all the benefits of the past 15 super stars, such as LeBron/Jordan and the other 13. Things such as [Huge Money!], diet/weight training and superior competition, by far, to help him raise his level of competing.
Just like the old boxer, Jack Johnson. Bring him back to 2020 at age 20 and give him the same uptodate benefits and watch him dominate.
He was a bit short, about 6'1/2, but so was Tyson, right?

One hell of a personality. He took that after Wooden.

Shaq, Lebron, Kobe, Jordan and Karl Malone I would pick as the best starting 5 lineup in basketball ever if all players were in their prime and playing all 5 positions.. I guess Kobe or Jordan would have to cover point guard position on defense..

In college, I still take Walton over Jabarr. Close, though.

                                  I'd take Shaq over both..

Hakeem, Duncan or Malone is the tough one for me if I threw any of them at power forward. I choose Karl Malone though myself.. Barkley a close addition to that mix as well.. Maybe even Bill Russel..

Jabarr was smooth and concise in college. Walton was ferocious and had more all-around skills.

UCLA Bruins.. I know. I grew up just a few miles away from the UCLA campus and Pauley Pavilion.. Did have the chance to meet John Wooden a bunch of times before he died also. He was always walking and out and about where I lived.. I'd see him alot..

Anyways Abe, both Kareem and Walton were a bit before my time playing in college but I've watched their college highlights.. I was born in 1968 about the time they were playing in College... I had to watch the tape Abe..

                                          Nice history, thanks Jibby.
Did not Walton have the longest college basketball winning streak when he played? And they were weirdly upset N.C.State, so that screwed up two highly meaningful things. The winning streak and an another NCAA championship.
With what, a last second shot?
I haven't doubled checked these possible facts but it was stamped into my brain at the moment it happened.
