    Horse racing question
I have never bet horses a day of my life until 2 days ago. I bet fair grounds race 1 horse 1 to show today and it got refunded but he finished 3rd so y the F did it get refunded?? I put $360 on a horse to finish 3rd (show) and all I get is a refund but if it finished 4th or worse they would’ve taken the money?? What kind of garbage is this horse racing? 😩

with the scratches in the race it reduced the entries enough to cancel show wagering. You may have placed the bet before they scratched the entries and had not cancelled show wagering yet.

Like pigpen mentions, there were scratches, only 4 horses ran the race.

You must of bet it with a book. There was no show betting in that race. Only had 4 horses with a late scratch....so your book didnt notice that there was no show betting g. There wasn't even a show pool

Was it from a book. Like sbr.

Ooooo, okay. I bet it with heritage and I don’t even know anything about horse racing. I’m just trying my luck...I had $200 in there and won $80 per day the last 2 days betting all in on a few horses to show. I know the odds r horrible but I don’t want to withdrawal anything less than $500 so if I make it there then I take the money out and wait for sports to come back. If not, it was only $200

Nothing wrong with a show bet. Grind it out. Low risk low reward. I'd be very happy winning 80. Most people want the big ticket. Keep doing what your doing. Gl

Heritage let you play. Because there money disent go into the pool. The main track. Your better off doing it that way. Because a 300 play to show can cost you few dollars because it's going into the pool
