A buddy of mine said this is in the works. Be prepared for no metro service if you’re in the area. Cuomo just announced no gatherings of 500+ people. So, Broadway is now shutdown. No sporting events in NY anytime soon.

Yeah word came out of Disney as well, I think.

NY warning anyone with city approved planned events ahead of time as they know they can't shut it all down in a night.

If we're at the point where some dude named Mac4Lyfe on the internet is posting about "a buddy of mine" then the cat is obviously out of the bag by now.

edit: no offense Mac, it really isn't about you...lol.

Well that effectively shuts down the parade that was postponed yesterday anyway.

We all need to face the reality that ANY event with large crowds is done for at least the next few weeks, if not months. The NCAA tourney is not going to be played next week. It’s not happening. Gobert just showed that athletes can’t be protected by fans or each other.

Yeah, that NCAA tourney is toast, with so much of the NCAA already cancelling and withdrawing, it's only a matter of time before we get the tourney announcement.

No offense taken. He’s one of the top guys at the Transit Authority. Been there for decades. But, Even if I mentioned his name, it wouldn’t matter. So feel free to take it with a grain of salt.

I think it’s going to just be temporary. We’re looking at locking down entire cities for probably 2 weeks to a month. So we’ll have April madness. It will most likely be bigger and greater than ever once we get back to playing the games. I’m excited about the day when sports comes back. But for now, forget about it.

April Madness? I think college basketball is over man, it's over.

NBA will salvage something, but Hoops is done.

Don't get me wrong, it's not a grain of salt.

It serves as confirmation of what was already starting to get out.

It's shutting down, I'd be surprised if it didn't at this point.

Bloomberg news just reported that transit has seen a 10% reduction so far. That’s really not a lot. I thought it would be much higher?

Bull s**t. The price for airline tickets has substantially dropped. Din't try to sell knowledgeable people your B.S.

my ticket price on alaska went from 129 to 499 last night after the trump stuff. I just looked and they are all back to 129 now. Guess I got caught up in the panic last night as they didn't even have customer service taking phone calls.
