Made a mistake while betting a free play, advice needed
Recently i made a deposit into skybook to take advantage of their $250 first deposit free play. While placing the free play i accidently took the wrong side of the line I wanted. When more money came available from my pending bets earlier in the evening I went to double up on the free play bet, this time taking the side i wanted. I did not double check the bets and thus inadvertantly bet opposing sides of the same line for the same amount. I did not realize this until the next day when i checked my balance.

Obviously, skybook, like most sportsbooks, i imagine, has a clause in their t&c prohibiting this. It has been a few days and they haven't said anything, but I don't want to get in trouble and have my remaining funds consificated or my account closed. What should i do? If i contact them and explain the situation (offer to give back the profit from my freeplay?) what do you think their response would be? Would that place the rest of my fund in jeopardy?

Ouch! That is a blunder. I'm not sure if they will come down hard on you if you just do it once. An A book is more tolerant. But personally I've never made this mistake, so I can't say for sure. It's likely that if you did it only once, and some time elapsed when you placed the other side, and all your other bets are taking only one side then you will be ok.

I think honesty is also a good policy. I got double credited a bonus once and I immediately told CS about it; they were so impressed that I did this. They took the extra bonus back but it was still the right thing. So if you know you made a mistake tell them and explain it. They will very likely let you keep the bonus. Good luck!

just email them and admit the mistake.. they will either tell you that they dont care or they will delete one of the bets.. seems like you are fine with either result

Tell them, because if you don't they either won't notice or cancel the winning bet. One is 50-50, the other is 0-100, so you're averaging 25-75. Not a good bet.
