If you have watched the Lakers play this season then you know better than anyone that the lakers have as good of a chance as any of the other top 4 or 5 teams in the NBA at getting a ring this year. I think at this point in the season they are ranked properly in most of the NBA power rankings systems. I believe that they are a primary scoring option away from being able to knock off the back yard Clippers in a 7 game series, that’s assuming that the clippers would be healthy...which has been an irregular happening for them this season thus far, but still...at full strength they(clippers) are a slightly better team. And thats just the threats coming out the west. The east you got a top to bottom good team in MIL Bucks. I think that Milwaukee being favorites to win in most places is deservingly so. And as far as the Lakers winning it for Kobe? Man in the playoffs every team, every player, everyone who’s someone is trying to win it for themselves, you know for their own motivations.

They’re gonna need Denver to knock out the Clippers to make it to the finals. Even then, Denver may take them down, but I’d expect the NBA to boost their chances if this is the WCF. They match up better against the Nuggets than their little brother, who has beaten them 25 out of the last 30 times they’ve met.

thats nothing more then a narrative for your average Joe fan to grasp onto. the game is played and won in the 4th quarter. everything else is superfluous data. who ever gets it done in that 4th quarter will in essence "win it for Kobe" because that is where he blossomed during his NBA career. the game is simple. you dribble you pass you shoot you play defense. you show up when it counts and thats what makes a good player/team a great player/team. love Lebron and I fukk with the Lakers. but Im taking Kawhi Leonard & the Clips in any 4th quarter situation right now over anyone in the league.
