I just called Pinnacle and asked several questions about withdrawing my money. I’ll report what they told me. (Bear in mind that with sportsbooks, there is no guarantee whatsoever that what one is told by customer service will bear any resemblance to reality.)
1. Up until now, Pinnacle policy has been to give you a choice: You can either be eligible for book-to-book transfers and pay full fees for your Neteller use, OR you can be disqualified from all book-to-book transfers and get a break on Neteller fees (deposits free; one free withdrawal per month). I long since chose the latter and so have not been eligible for book-to-book transfers.
Today I asked whether exceptions would be allowed to these policies due to the unusual circumstances.
The answer I received is that both the fees and the book-to-book transfer disqualification are being waived for Americans forced to withdraw by today’s change in policy. That is to say, you won’t be charged for a Neteller regardless of whether under normal circumstances you’d be eligible for a freebie today, and you can withdraw by book-to-book transfer even if you are on their list as being ineligible for this method.
2. I then asked about the time frame:
If I put in a request for a Neteller withdrawal or a book-to-book transfer right now, about how long do you think it would be before it would be processed?
Well, of course we have a very, very high number of payouts to process right now. We’re going through and processing them as quickly as we can, but it’s going to take awhile to get through all of them.
So would you say that realistically it would probably take several days for a withdrawal requested now?
Yes. I think that’s about what you’re looking at.
OK, so we are talking days rather than hours.
I would think if you put the request in now it would be a few days. Maybe a little longer. But we’ll certainly process them as quickly as we can.
And would there be any difference in how long it would take to process a Neteller versus a book-to-book transfer?
Shouldn’t be. Maybe the sportsbook transfer would take slightly longer. But I wouldn’t think there’d be much of a difference.
