Pinnacle did say in an earlier interview today that 35-40% of there players were US. They also went on to say that they feel that they are excelling in the Euro and Asian marketplace, so they should be Ok.

Why did they decide to leave the US market

If they are not a public company, why did they decide to leave the US market?

They would be the first successful private sportsbook to leave, I believe.

It depends on what you compare. Actives, gross handle or net profits?

I'd say 70% of the gross handle and maybe a little more comes from the US market. Keep in mind the credit part was almost all US.

Because most of their big US customers just became big international customers.

I don't understand why people don't comprehend that. It really isn't hard to route your betting internationally if you're a major money mover.

Santo, I agree, most real players will figure out a way to play at Pinnacle. It really is not that difficult.

I dont think they need to be profitable anytime soon anyway. Remember these guys were pretty dang rich when they started in the late 90's. And the last 7 years has added to that considerably.

CNBC just reported that Pinnacle had pulled out of the U.S. market and said they had 65% of their business in the U.S. They were a day late, but they got the news.
